Couple photo phone case
A couple photo phone case puts the two of you on a case made for your exact phone. The challenge is shape: couple photos are usually wide, two people side by side with a view behind them, while a phone case is tall and narrow. Plan for that and the case looks great.

Choosing the photo
Heads close together
The easiest photos to use are close ones: a selfie, a hug, a kiss, two heads leaning in. In a wide photo with space between you, one face ends up near the edge, where the rim or the camera opening can cut it. If you have a favorite wide photo, try cropping it in the preview first: if both faces fit comfortably, use it.
Same light on both faces
A photo where one face is in the sun and the other in shadow looks uneven on a case. Pick one where both of you are lit the same way.
Black and white works
A black-and-white photo looks calm and timeless on a case, especially on Clear, where the phone's color frames it. If you edit the photo yourself, keep the original resolution.
Before you choose: a sharp original
Whatever the subject, the photo has to be sharp at full size. The back of a phone is much larger than a thumbnail, and every soft edge shows. Three quick checks help:
- Use the original file from your camera roll, not a screenshot, a social-media download or a photo sent through a messaging app. Those are compressed and lose detail.
- Zoom in on your screen. If the eyes or the edges look soft when you zoom in, they will look soft on the case.
- Prefer daylight. Photos taken in good light have less grain and truer colors than evening shots.
One photo of the two of you
The case takes one photo. A close photo of you both fills it best. For then and now, put your first photo and a recent one together in your phone's photo app, save them as one picture and upload that. A black-and-white photo with a white or sand background color around it looks like a framed print.
Keep both faces clear of the camera
Place both faces in the middle of the case, with space above your heads. If one face sits close to the camera opening, zoom out slightly or move the photo down. The design step shows the opening for the phone you chose.
Matching cases for two phones
Matching cases are a popular anniversary idea. Your phones are probably different models, and the camera opening sits in a different place on each. Design the first case, then start again for the second phone with the same photos, and adjust the crop for its camera. Order both at the same time so they arrive together.
Add a date or a place
An anniversary date, the city where you met or a nickname is enough. Keep it short, place it on a calm part of the photo and away from the edges, and read the spelling twice.
Which case type
Clear suits a black-and-white couple photo. Tough protects a phone that goes everywhere, and Snap keeps it thin. Choose a phone case material compares them.
Make it in three steps
- Choose model. Pick the phone of the person who will carry the case.
- Case type. Tough, Snap or Clear, as listed for that model.
- Design. Tap the case to add the photo, drag and zoom until both faces sit in the middle, away from the camera opening, and add a date if you like.
Mistakes to avoid
- A wide photo where one face lands at the edge.
- Ordering two matching cases with the same crop for two different phones.
- A long message that runs into the camera opening.
Ordering and delivery
When the preview looks right, add the case to your cart and pay securely with Stripe, in euros, pounds or dollars. We make and dispatch your case within 2 business days after payment. Delivery then usually takes 5–7 business days within Europe, 5–10 to the United States and up to about 20 to Australia. These are estimates, so leave some room before a birthday or a holiday.
Your case is made for you, so it cannot be returned because the photo, the spelling or the model was wrong. If it arrives damaged or does not match the preview, write to us with the order number and a photo.

Questions
How do I fit two people on a phone case?
Choose a photo where your heads are close together, then drag and zoom until both faces sit in the middle of the case.
Can we have matching cases for two different phones?
Yes. Design one case per phone model, because the camera opening is in a different place on each, and adjust the crop for each one.
Is a black-and-white photo a good idea?
Yes. It looks calm on any case and especially good on Clear, where the phone's color frames it.
What text works on a couple case?
A date, a place or a nickname. Keep it short and away from the camera opening and the edges.
