Best friend phone case
A best friend phone case should make both of you smile every time you pick up your phone. It does not need to be perfect. It needs to be yours: the trip, the night out, the face only your friend makes.

Choosing the photo
A photo you both like
Your favorite photo of the two of you might be your friend's least favorite photo of themselves. If the case is a gift, pick one where you both look happy, or ask a friend you have in common. A case is used every day, so it should make the owner smile.
Close is better
Selfies and close photos work best, because the faces are big and close together. A wide photo of a group on a beach becomes a row of tiny faces on a tall case.
Memories, not just faces
A best friend case can also show places: the city you visited, the concert, the café where you always meet. Mix one photo of you two with one of the place.
Before you choose: a sharp original
Whatever the subject, the photo has to be sharp at full size. The back of a phone is much larger than a thumbnail, and every soft edge shows. Three quick checks help:
- Use the original file from your camera roll, not a screenshot, a social-media download or a photo sent through a messaging app. Those are compressed and lose detail.
- Zoom in on your screen. If the eyes or the edges look soft when you zoom in, they will look soft on the case.
- Prefer daylight. Photos taken in good light have less grain and truer colors than evening shots.
One photo, or a story made first
The case takes one picture. A close photo of the two of you is the classic. For then and now, or the friendship in four moments, put the photos together in your phone's photo app, save them as one picture and upload that. A bright background color around a zoomed-out photo also looks fun on a best friend case.
The inside joke
A nickname, a date or two words only you understand. Short text reads better and stays clear of the camera opening. Try light letters on a dark part of the photo, or dark letters on a light part, and choose a text style that fits the joke.
Matching cases
Matching cases are a classic. Design one for each phone model, because the camera opening sits in a different place on each phone and the same crop may not work twice. Give each case its own background color for a small twist.
Which case type
Clear looks light and summery with bright photos. Tough survives festivals and handbags. Snap is thin. Choose a phone case material compares them.
Make it in three steps
- Choose model. Choose your friend's exact phone.
- Case type. Tough, Snap or Clear, as listed for that model.
- Design. Tap the case to add the photo, drag and zoom it into place, pick a background color, and add your inside joke with Text.
Mistakes to avoid
- A photo your friend does not like of themselves.
- A wide group photo where everyone ends up tiny.
- Long text that runs into the camera opening.
Ordering and delivery
When the preview looks right, add the case to your cart and pay securely with Stripe, in euros, pounds or dollars. We make and dispatch your case within 2 business days after payment. Delivery then usually takes 5–7 business days within Europe, 5–10 to the United States and up to about 20 to Australia. These are estimates, so leave some room before a birthday or a holiday.
Your case is made for you, so it cannot be returned because the photo, the spelling or the model was wrong. If it arrives damaged or does not match the preview, write to us with the order number and a photo.
